Here's to the birth of an idea.
My idea is that we need to focus on the amazing and beautiful things that are happening in our world. As artists we find ways to express it and show it in a meaningful way. We find inspiration in our lives, people, nature, events, and each others' art. If we can show each other what we are doing for change, maybe others will be inspired too.
This is my idea, to create a blog where we could post the varied, sometimes simple and amazing things that we artists are creating.
What is your idea? What have you been working on? Are you creating art opportunities for chemo patients, involving community in some ecological art project, have you created a body of work that is about hope, healing, possibilities, or change? Now it's time for you to challenge yourself and see what you can do. It may be free classes that you are offering, tutorials that you have created, as well as art. Anything that connects us and supports love for one another and world will be considered. Can we affect change through art?
